Hazrat Sheikh Khwaja Syed Moinuddin Hasan Chishti (RA) (also spelled as Moinudeen, Moin-ud-din, Muinuddin) popularly known as “Gharib Nawaz” (Benefactor of the poor) was one of the most influencial saints of the Indian subcontinent, and an international spiritual inspiration who lived during the 6th Century AH (12th Century AD). He introduced and established the Chishti order in South Asia and significantly contributed to the spread of Islam in undivided India. The life and mission of Khwaja Saheb has been of an exceptional character. His simple teaching penetrated even a stony heart, his affectionate look silenced the fiercest of his enemies. He spread the message of universal love and peace. He chose the path of non-compulsion in the true spirit of the Holy Quran, which says : “Let there be no compulsion in religion, but by the persuasion of Allah”. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (R.A.) followed this dictum strictly throughout his mission. His teachings were later reinforced by succeeding Chishti Sufis, who became religious pioneers for the national integration of our country.
Dargah Khwaja Saheb, Ajmer is managed by Ministry of Minority Affairs Government of India through Dargah Committee. Nazim & CEO appointed by Govt. of India excersices delegated powers of Dargah Committee .
Dargah committee is a statutory body constituted under the Central Act no 36; Dargah Khwaja Saheb Act.1955 Passed by Indian Parliament.

For providing sandal, sej (Rose) and wax on Mazar Shareef.Arrangement of annual urs of Hazrat khwaja Gharib nawaz (R.A.) and special arrangement of Chatti shareef and of Mini Urs during Moharram .Arrangement of Sama (mehfil) weekly on every Thursday ,on 14 th of every Islamic month at Chilla Qutub saheb, and during Urs at Mehfilkhana from 1st to 6th Rajab. You may get exemption under section 80 G(2) (b) of Income Tax Act Passed by Indian Parliament.

Dargah Committee Dargah Khwaja Saheb Ajmer Accounts are Audited by Accountant General Govt. of India and Audit Report is placed before Indian Parliament for approval.
